WHO ARE WE?Bishop of the Diocese of La Crosse:
Bishop Listecki was installed as Ninth Bishop of La Crosse in the Year of the Eucharist, Tuesday, March 1, 2005, succeeding Archbishop Raymond L. Burke of St. Louis.
The Director:
The Director is the spiritual and authoritative head of the House of Formation. His presence at the seminary and at Aquinas High School gives him the unique ability to be part of the seminarian's total life: at the House and at school.
Fr. Samuel A. Martin was born on August 9, 1973 the second of five children. He graduated from Holy Name High School Seminary (Madison) in 1991 and then achieved degrees in Theology and Philosophy from the University of St. Thomas (St. John Vianney Seminary) in 1995. In Rome Fr. Martin received an S.T.B. in Theology from the Gregorian University in 1998. He was ordained to the priesthood on June 26, 1999. The following year he attained an S.T.L. in Moral Theology from the Pope John Paul II Institute in Rome.
He taught at Assumption High School in Wisconsin Rapids from 2000-2002 and has been at Aquinas High School since then.

The Prefect:
The Prefect is in charge of the disciplinary and every-day management of the House of Formation. He has influence in all aspects of the House of Formation: driving the seminarians to school and back, discipline, theological instruction, spiritual formation. Mr. Adam Husing was born on November 11, 1981 in Minneapolis, MN. He grew up in Iron Mountain, MI, a small town in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, not far from the Wisconsin border. He studied at Carthage College in Kenosha, WI and earned a degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Math. While going to School at Carthage, Mr. Husing started attending the Catholic Mass and soon converted to Catholicism. In high school he began dating his future wife whom he married on July 3, 2004. At Carthage, Mr. Husing played baseball where he was a four year starter at the Division III level. He earn 1st team all-conference honors, four years in a row, and earned All-American honors his senior season. On June 16th, 2004 he entered the Catholic Church, and has been swinging away every since.
